Passing of Clifford Hughes MBE

Cliff

The Association is very saddened to report the death of former councillor Cliff Hughes

Cliff had been a member of the Party for three decades and had served as a borough councillor on South Ribble BC for 36 years, representing the Lostock Hall ward.

Cliff also served as borough Mayor in 1993/94.

Along with his service to the borough, Cliff will also be remembered for his charity work, especially his involvement with St Catherine’s Hospice which awarded him with the title of Founder and Life President for his unwavering dedication to the hospice.
