Stuart has over 16 years experience on the Council and has held several senior positions including a successful four year term as Leader.
Working as a director of his own business for over 30 years, and living in the Ward for over 20 years, Stuart is married to Elaine and has two grown up children.
He has dealt with many issues over the years and has always maintained a strong focus on low council tax with excellent service for residents and the vital preservation of the Ribble Valley’s distinct independence as an authority.
