Tony has been involved in the local community since moving to Ribble Valley seven years ago, and has been a Langho Parish Councillor for over four years. He brings a deep concern for rural areas and the experience of having been a Councillor on Canterbury City Council for 19 years where he served as Sheriff, Executive Member for Housing, and Vice Chairman of Planning. He has been a school governor, village hall trustee, and set up a flood action group.
Tony is a supporter of driving the local economy to make the Borough more sustainable, attract new businesses, create jobs, and to increase the income of Ribble Valley Borough Council to protect services. A priority for Tony is helping tourism whilst protecting our beautiful environment.
