Chairman Ribble Valley Conservatives
David is Chairman of Simonstone Parish Council.
A Chartered Public Finance Accountant, he worked for 40 years in the public sector (Local Government (Councils in Greater Manchester and Merseyside) and the NHS (at local and Regional levels) on Financial, Strategic and Chief Executive Roles and was awarded the OBE in 2007 for services to the Health of the Communities in Lancashire.
After retiring from salaried service he ran a consultancy company supporting the Private, Public and 3rd Sector.
He is a Trustee of Veterans in Communities Charity and Chairman of Queen Elizabeth’s School Blackburn
He is married with two grown up sons.
David has been Chairman of Ribble Valley Conservative Association since 2018.
