Maxwell was born and raised right here in Ribble Valley and has lived here all his life. Political interests include protecting farmers and rural issues, defence, and working to improve our constituency.
He has experience in the energy sector and education, teaching politics at a University the past several years, and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Authority.
His degrees are Politics and International Relations based, and he has researched for organisations including the MoD, and is currently finishing his PhD addressing nation building and development.
Maxwell was a City Councillor for Sharoe Green from 2019-2026 and Conservative Deputy Group Leader with a wealth of experience on several committee's including planning, licensing, and crime and disorder.
He is the Deputy Chair Political and Chair of the Conservative Policy Forum for the Ribble Valley Association, and also the Pendle and Ribble Valley Federation.
